Why green? Green is the color of Organ Donor Awareness. God gave me another chance to live by re-using a 17 year old boy's liver when I was on my "death bed".
The doctors gave me 5- 7 days to live...I am now going strong on nearly eight years!!!!
It was a horrible day for the family whose son had died in a car accident. It would have been a horrible day for my family also, but they chose to give their son's liver to someone in need. That day became a joyous day to me and my family.
I once was a drug addict and an alcoholic but 'the old is gone, behold, the new has come!'
